First we have our founder and director of the academy Alexandra Beram.
In her words:
”I am the head teacher and founder of DiviNation. My name is Alexandra.”
I have been studying many forms of Wicca, paganism, animism, divinations, and workings of the craft for 20 years. I have practiced under hundreds of pagan mentors from all over the world, and I am so honored to be able to help give people genuine resources and information to expand their knowledge of paganism and Wicca.
For many reasons, it is very difficult to find reliable and valid information about this branch of spirituality and that is something that has frustrated me for many years. So, I wanted to start a community where people could access this information, ask questions and even attend classes, rituals, and workshops.
Please come to me with any questions you have about the academy, or about paganism in general.”
Next we have our incredible professor Kitana Swanson! Alex and Kitana have been practicing witchcraft together for 15 years. She is a Reiki Master (Angelic and Usui), a Sacred Priestess in the Order of Melchizedek, and she practices many forms of Paganism and Spirituality. She has a very diverse background, with a focus on energy work, divination (multiple forms), crystals, hair magic, and intuitive development.
She can also help out if you're into essential oils, sprays, or tinctures. Please come to her with any questions you have about her practice, or about pagan spiritualities in general.
She is an incredible practitioner and we are so lucky to have her.
"Corey Rae Evans is an adjunct professor of Africana Studies at the University of Northern Colorado and an Instructor of Women's Studies in the Center for Women's Studies and Gender Research at Colorado State University. They received their B.A and M.A in Ethnic Studies and a masters certificate in Gender, Power and Difference from Colorado State University. Their research and writing seeks to illuminate the ways that both dominant and marginalized populations are impacted by supremacist ideologies and how they work to break from legacies of historical oppression and trauma. Emphasis is placed on examining the colonial nature of our society’s paternalistic relationships with the land and the more vulnerable members of our society: children, elderly, and animals especially in the following social institutions: traditional and non-traditional families and households, education, healthcare, the military industrial complex, policing and the prison industrial complex and the labor market."
Next we have the amazing Melissa Swanson! Alex has known her for 15 years, and she is an incredible witch. She comes from a long line of Italian Witches (or Strega). She is a Usui Reiki Master, a Sacred Priestess in the Order of Melchizedek, and she practices many forms of Pagan Spirituality. She works with Lenormand Cards, protection & clearing, candle magic, and crystals. She also enjoys making her own tinctures, sprays, oils and incense.
Please come to her with any questions that you have about her practice, or about pagan spiritualities in general. She is a very experienced mentor and we are lucky to have her.
Next we have the incredible Dorian Gray! He comes from a very long line of generational witches and healers. He is one of the most knowledgeable and beautiful people Alex has ever met. He is our herbalism teacher and he takes Academy students out on foraging adventures to identify herbs and mushrooms.

”Hi! I'm Micah and I'm so excited to have you in the upcoming Astrology basics course! First, I'd like to share a bit about myself so that you can get to know me a bit better. I have always had a passion for astrology, but I truly started to study and read charts professionally 8 years ago in 2012. During that time I've seen some pretty amazing charts that belong to equally aw inspiring people. I've always been most interested in human behavior (which influenced me to pursue Psychology in college) so while Vedic astrology is fascinating in it's own right , I'm a Tropical Astrologer.
During my time taking astrology classes, I have found that despite the classes being very informative, I'd loose half the information because of the lecture style. What I have designed this class to be is more of a discussion.
Astrology is a language, and we will begin to break down its basic foundations in this class with plenty of creative in class activities and homework. When I'm not working as the head of my business Eden Eye Tarot or reading at my local neighborhood witch shop.
I'm at home cuddling with my cats Portabella and Banshee, teaching circus classes and napping. I'm a Pisces sun(3rd house) Taurus Moon(5th house) and a Capricorn rising all of that to say I love teaching just as much as I love astrology and can not wait to see all of your beautiful virtual faces!”

Hello My name is Rain-Fae. I am a Reiki master and energy healer. I have been called to help manifest and guide others to finding their inner peace and calm through all their shadows and storms in this human experience. So that they can eventually do the same for others. My dream is to one day have a healing center with land to grow food and herbs, with animals and places for people to come and learn and grow themselves spiritually. To be close to nature and the divine, to heal their souls and learn to heal other souls including animals and plants. I work with natural magick, plants, animals, and all souls on this beautiful planet Earth. I have been a solitary, green and kitchen witch who has been studying my craft for the last 8 years now. I feel like I am always growing and learning about myself and my craft every day. However, I have always felt the call and have known I was a witch. I grew up seeing and working with faeries and being able to sense and have a connection with animals for most of my life. I grew up as a pastor kid and had a lot of religious blocks as I grew up, yet my father was very open and taught me to love and appreciate nature and helped me use my imagination and gifts. So that is what helped me understand my own self when I found this path. It was like I opened the door to a world I only thought existed in my dreams. Sandra Louis is the owner of ‘On Our Farms & Wildlands’. She is a grower and forager and she loves using her knowledge to teach others about the wild things around us, and their uses.
Meet Danielle Strano!
Hello, my name is Danielle Strano and I am so grateful to be a professor here at the academy! I have always wanted to be involved with a project like this and was so happy to come across a post from the founder and see all of the exciting things she is doing. I have been practicing tarot, astrology, and reiki for 5 years and am always looking to learn more. I am an Empath coach and healer. I work with empaths to help them release trauma And limiting beliefs so they can fully step into their power and learn to see it as such (shadow work). I work with adults and teens in my personal business and we just won best holistic healing center in PA. I incorporate astrology and tarot into my sessions to personalize every person’s experience. I also love to teach all things spiritual.
I am currently attending the American institute of metaphysics and was so happy to be awarded the Howard Thurman Metaphysical Research Scholarship where I am working towards a bachelors in metaphysical arts and a masters in demonology. I am also a student at a few mystery schools. I have been interested in all things metaphysical since I was a child and am excited to pass along the teachings to the next person. See you in class!

My name is Tanya OGrady - my self chosen name is Mystic. I currently live in Arvada, Colorado with my son and three cats. I returned home to Colorado after having traveled and lived in many different places. Even though there are many loves of lands in my life, I have returned home where my soul is most settled. For my day job, I am a Medical Social Worker in home health and hospice. I have a Masters of Social Work from Highlands University, New Mexico. Currently, I am a professor in DiviNation Academy as a Mystic Crystal Witch. At my core, I am a Mystic Crystal Eclectic Solitary Witch. I have a diverse history of living in a large span of countries thus gifting me a worldview that shapes who I am. As a first generation American on my mother’s side, the Scandinavian influence is imbued with the frequencies of the other lands I’ve connected with from Norway to Japan, India to Ireland, and Mexico to the United States. I have over 30 years of studying the mysteries of life including religion, world studies, occult and esoteric matters. Additionally, I have 25 years of healing work experience using color frequencies and crystals. My personal interest and deep love of crystals - from their foundational structure to their ability to heal, enhance and strengthen - is integral to my internal structure. Crystals have a spell on me. I keep working to find the connections and vibrations that open me to their ability to share their secrets. Crystals have an amazing influence to heal people who use them or wear them on a daily basis. They also can be used to heal someone from many different ailments, strengthen areas of weakness, and enhance innate qualities. It is my desire to inspire and share my passion for crystals as well as assist people in their ability to utilize these magical and unique tools from the earth.

Her business, Restorative Magick, was launched in 2020 providing services such as 1:1 ritual design, sacred circle, retreats, and more topic-focused containers. Siona hopes to provide a safe space to explore the rediscovering of one’s inner Magick, and finding the strength to reclaim their lost goddexx.

I have been a solitary grey magick practioner for 15 + years. My magick is very folk, ceremonial and nature based. I write every single prayer, spell, invocation, and circle casting personally I use. I work with many divination tools and practices such as all forms of scrying, tarot, runes, etc. I work with deity energy, archetype energy, chakras, the collective uncounscious, all forms of nature, other entities such as demons, the fae, and all supernatural entities. I focus heavily on moon energy in practice and in my daily life and home. My knowledge is extensive across many practices, topics and paths. I consider myself a mystic and seeker of all knowledge. I study from many different sources, paths, pantheons, religions, cultures, teachers and practices. I have practiced and studied from many different teachers and masters in areas such as shamanism, magick, witchcraft, religion and spiritual practices. I focus my studies on being as accurate to the culture and religion as possible throughout history and representing it all.
I am a grey magick practioner which means I work with both dark and light energy and strive to maintain constant duality in my practice. I work with all the dark goddesses and have the ability to channel and invoke deities. My energy and magick is naturally very healing, purifying and cleansing and I love to provide that to others as it is a key part to my soul contract. I cant wait to teach you on so many topics from basics in magick, to different pagan religions, different paths, and how to fulfill your responsibility of duality as a magick practioner and pagan.
In my not so free time, I am a stay at home mom during the day to my sweet 2 year old autistic son olyver while working as a political organizer for pro choice Minnesota and planned parented to protect reproductive freedom. I live in central Minnesota with my husband of 12 years and our 3 cats. I also work full time overnights at a womens domestic violence shelter and an on call advocate for sexual assault victims.
